Desiree (DesiKole) Dizard, professionally known as Desikole, has worked behind the scenes in the television and film industry for over 18 years. Her passion for screenwriting was ignited in 1999 when she wrote her first screenplay titled, The Styling Divas. This screenplay is ‘Thee Script' that sparked the black hair salon genre within the film industry. Her formal instruction began at Kent State University where she majored in Theatre and continued her education in Los Angeles where she attended Writers Bootcamp, Jeff Kitchen’s Story Development Workshop, John Truby’s Masters Course, and an online program at Screenwriter’s University and was an active participant in Gotham’s Writer’s Workshop in New York.
Desikole creates well-structured screenplays that are uniquely crafted with the fundamental aspects of great storytelling. She is currently working on several commercially viable screenplays that are marketable to major studios.
